Disclosing AI Interaction
Requirement
When a BAUER GROUP product enables a direct interaction between an AI system and a natural person (e.g. chatbot, voice assistant), the person must be informed.
Implementation
Chatbots and Conversational AI
A clear notice must be placed before or at the start of the interaction:
🤖 You are communicating with an AI assistant.
The responses are automatically generated
and may contain errors.API-based AI Services (B2B)
For B2B products that provide AI functionality via APIs, the notice is embedded in the technical documentation and terms of use.
Exception: Obviousness
If it is obvious from the context that an AI interaction is taking place (e.g. the service is called "BAUER GROUP AI Assistant"), the explicit notice may be omitted. Recommendation: label it nonetheless.
