Transparency for Deployers – Art. 13
Requirement
High-risk AI systems must be designed in such a way that their operation is sufficiently transparent for deployers. Providers must supply instructions for use.
Instructions for Use Must Include
- Name and contact details of the provider
- Performance characteristics, capabilities and limitations of the system
- Intended purpose
- Measures for human oversight and their implementation
- Expected lifetime and maintenance measures
- Technical specifications of the input data
- Explainability of the output where relevant
- Any known risks to health, safety, fundamental rights
- Information on accuracy (Art. 15) including metrics
